I’m a Chicago-based writer and PR/corporate communications specialist. My experience includes national PR and marketing agency assignments as well as global corporate communications.
My assignments have encompassed a wide range of industries and subjects, from consumer products to business interiors, from personal fitness/nutrition to hot-button socio-political issues. These days my work includes strategic communications counsel and media training. I also write and/or edit digital content, feature stories, CSR reports, white papers, case studies, speeches, presentations, news releases and opinion pieces for thought leaders.
Today, effective communication demands much more than the dry recitation of facts, figures and innocuous talking points. Alliances are often forged, crises managed and engagement achieved first through a compelling narrative. In a more innocent time, this ability was known simply as “good storytelling.”
